Job Purpose

We are looking for a responsible and organized enrollment specialist to advise and guide candidates in the enrollment process. The enrollment specialist will be responsible for welcoming customers into the program, giving a detailed breakdown of the cost and benefits, handling documentation, collecting information, entering data and providing customer service. Must be able to communicate in English and Spanish fluently.

To be successful as an enrollment specialist you should be able to welcome the customer by in a courteous fashion, provide detailed information about the program, make recommendations and maintain meticulous records. An outstanding candidate will demonstrate exceptional communication skills and have a high standard of accuracy.

Job Duties and responsibilities

  • Handling questions, issues, and providing detailed information on requirements, processes, and policies.
  • Dealing with sensitive information.
  • Ensuring that applications are completed correctly and that the required supporting materials have been provided.
  • Entering, updating, and reviewing data and records.
  • Providing guidance and recommendations to applicants and prospective candidates.
  • Corresponding with applicants and prospective candidates.
  • Processing enrollments and dis-enrollments.
  • Assisting with billing and payment processing.
  • Conducting information sessions.
  • Keeping the number of cancellations as minimal as possible.
  • Explain the advantages of having more items enrolled in our program.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • 4+ years of customer service experience.
  • A basic understanding of loan types and servicing or willingness to learn.
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
  • Ability to adapt/respond to different types of customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications.
  • Be a conscientious and reliable team player.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Experience with CRM and phone systems
  • Must be able to pass a rigorous background check and credit check.
